LONDON FASHION WEEK STREET STYLE MADNESS

London Fashion Week madness has finally begun -again! Every 6 months Somerset House turns into a massive catwalk not only with the amazing fashion shows taking over the courtyard but with thousands of fashion lovers photographers designers and wannabes showcasing some interesting creative and innovative outfits as well as bunch of grotesque looking youngsters pretending they know a thing or two about fashion. And this is all ok because fashion is for everyone who wants to express their personal style. I absolutely love watching crowds of fashionistas queuing to get a glimpse of what is usually reserved for industry insiders-designer trade shows with all the major fashion editors from around the globe and luxury buyers accompanied by celebrities looking for the inspiration for their next red carpet outing. Those priceless invitations are reserved for  fashion professionals and opinion makers, but if you are clever you can apply for your ticket as a blogger( you have to prove your stats before you get an approval) or queue before the show hoping there are some free spaces left (designers don't like having empty seats at the show-just doesn't look good) there is a third option actually...if you work in PR (like I do) and you are sponsoring the show you can experience both backstage and the actual show without extra hassle! That is one of the reasons why I LOVE my job-not sure if I mentioned it before but I really do! Of course as I was there t work I couldn't and shouldn't go over the top with the outfit so I opted for safe and always classy little black dress with a bit of an edge-at the end of the day it is Fashion Week:-)

POLISH BLISS

I am sure that all of you have this special place where you always come back to recharge your batteries, hide from the world and relax with your loved ones-yes this place is called home! Or in my case, it is Wloclawek, Poland. When I was a little girls, I used to spend every summer with my auntie at her farm on the countryside-oh boy the joy of running in the crop fields and chasing the cows-not sure if she agreed with my opinion at the time ;-) ! I decided the recreate this idyllic memory from my childhood and spend the day relaxing at the lake with some of my great friends surrounded by ripened grains and blossoming poppies and cornflowers. Pastels work really well to calm down our senses, so the ethereal pants from Zara and powder-pink light jumper from Bershka finished with a very romantic bow on the back were the perfect option for this afternoon. Pure bliss!

Postanowiłam więc odtworzyć to idylliczne wspomnienie z dzieciństwa i spędzić dzień relaksujac sie nad jeziorem z przyjaciółmi otoczona dojrzewającymi zbożami i kwitnącymi makami i chabrami. Czysta rozkosz!

CASUAL CHILLY CHIC

I guess the universe decided that we’ve had enough sunshine in London, and the sky is moody again. So clashing prints are my form of a protest :-) Designers claim that you have to be brave enough to wear contrasting outfits, the crazier, the better. This look might not be the most avant-garde but this is just the beginning-fashion and I against the weather! Come on sunshine, I am awaiting your soon comeback!

FESTIVAL OF COLOURS

This weekend I went for a girly trip to Helsinki and Tallinn, and that means champagne, gossip and good food in the best company ever! As you can imagine the weather in Nordic countries doesn’t spoil, so the warm and comfy clothes were a must! Of course a touch of vibrant hues was necessary to warm up the aura, and to my surprise it was a perfect match to the architecture of both cities! A true festival of colours :-) Plus this season fashion went tangerine-tastic-and orange is frankly everywhere. So here is my casual-chic for not-so -warm weekends away!

W ten weekend pojechałam na babski wypad do Helsinek i Tallina, a to oznacza jedno- szampan, plotki i dobre jedzenie w doborowym towarzystwie!
